Should the Rockets trade for Jaylen Brown?

This game is solidifying my opinion that we should not trade for Brown. He's not a point guard--or if he is, he's an easily flustered one.

Brown - 8 turnovers

Let's go ahead and not trade for this guy.

 

If this guy was your primary ballhandler you'd be so screwed. In any offensive scheme.

He's also overrated defensively. Good defender, sure, but not a huge impact player on that end.

 

Are we sure JB isn’t just another Tobias Harris? The guy will get paid and has talent but I’m not sure I want to be the team that ends up with that contract.

I think he just needs his old coach back….Harden, Brown, Green and Sengun….we win the west or Game 7 with Denver

No. He a third option at best. Kind of like Tobias Harris, but slightly better defender.

Trade for Caleb Martin. Until he has a bad game. Then move onto the next player. So on and so on. Cf’s logic

HIS VALUE IS VERY LOW RIGHT NOW…..he need to trade for him right now…..Coach Ime will get him right…the guy do not have a coach….

 

This game shouldn't change your mind about Brown. Before this I knew him as a athletic really skilled scorer with severe tunnel vision and I still think the same and I still think that type of player is bad to bring to this current young group that is trying to learn how to play in a team concept.
