Harden is clearly a much better player than Butler. Only the most extreme Harden haters would take Butler over Harden. But the point of this thread still has some truth. In terms of competitiveness and resilience, Butler is better than Harden, not even close. Harden would have given up in the second or third quarter in last night's game after shooting like crap. And if you want to play the "bad teammates" card, how about Butler has three undrafted guys in the starting lineup plus another undrafted guy and a 38-year-old dude coming off the bench against the team with the second best records in the league?
No. Choking is being nervous not putting up a suitable PERFORMANCE under pressure. Last game Butler had a bad shooting game, but still made plays down the stretch and WILLED his team back in the game. Harden usually checks out the first quarter & never wakes up, hence having more turnovers than shot attempts against the Spurs (2-13 fg). The WORLD has already seen Harden lay down multiple elimination games, so everything is documented bro lol
What? Harden has been a more versatile player, but where is the 'much better', are you talking about the past? Now they are pretty close to me with the exception that Butler is playing better in the Playoffs, more consistently.

Harden cannot go 80 no more. Would be a small wonder if he can consistently play in 70 or 65 games a year. It should not matter to babysitting young guys though that is what people in here believe.
