Rockets 2004-05 Schedule for MS Outlook

    For the last few years, I've been creating an electronic version of the Rockets' regular season schedule so friends and I can import it into Outlook/PDAs and always have it handy. This year, I thought it would be cool to share it with all of you.

    Since we can't upload files to this bbs, copy all of the text below and save as a file with the .CSV extension to your favorite folder on your PC (example "Rockets.csv"). In Outlook, choose File|Import and Export. Select Import from another program or file and choose Comma Separated Values (Windows) as the file type. Click 'Browse' and select the CSV file you saved earlier. Click 'Next' and select your calendar folder. Click 'Finish' to begin importing the calendar. Enjoy!

    The easiest way is probably:

    Open notepad
    Paste the selected text inside
    Click 'File|Save As'
    In the File Name box, type "Rockets.csv" (including quotes)
    Click save.

    That should do it.

    Maybe someone with a website can upload the CSV and provide a link?

    You might try this: change your computer to Central (Houston) time. Then import the file into Outlook. Then change your computer back to Australian time. Then everything should be in the right time zone! :)

    You can download the same stuff from the Rockets website... I think. I've had the schedule in Outlook for 2 years now, and I think that is where I got it.

    I'm a bit confused. How come the schedule from rockets.com has a different time? Which one is local houston time? How come they're 2.5 hrs. apart. Are we using half time zone? Thankx

    I was going to ask that too. I liked the Excel version, which calculated the records and point differential, etc.
