Good way of looking at it. Everyone should be prepared for the possibility we pick #5 or #6. Basically a coin flip we end up at that position, so don't let yourself be devastated if that's the outcome.

Cam/Ausar/Jarace are great prospects and all of them could be fantastic starters in the NBA, maybe even future all-stars. We get to at least add one of that level of guy to our current team, and we have a chance to move up and get an even better prospect. No matter what happens we have a great chance of improving much more than the average team with our high draft position.

I will be over the moon and ecstatic if we get #1, thrilled if we get #2, happy if we get #3 or #4, and just a bit sad if we land #5 or #6.

Console yourself that this is a phenomenal draft class. Best top half of the lottery since 2003.

 

I'll say this, there is a fan base going to sleep tonight thinking it definitely won't be us due to the lottery percentages and they will be revealed to have that #1 pick tomorrow. Why not us?

Honestly, it's #1 or bust for me. Outside of Wemby, this is a weak draft. I'd prefer to trade the pick if it goes 2nd or later for a future draft pick and/or a young star.

to move up from 5/6 = JJ v AhQh
to move up from 4/5/6 = 8d7d v 77
to move up to top 2 = 10d5s v 88
to move up to top 1 = KhJh v KK

 

We're picking 6 and drafting a nobody watch ()

 

However things play out, we have a shot at a star or talented player and moving into phase 2 to complete for wins next year.

You should switch to the Fanspo site. I like it a bit more. Shame I didn't discover it until yesterday.

 

I use that site usually to lookup player's agents, didn't realize they have a draft simulator. Anyways here's my 1st and only spin from that site.
