    What would have happened is that you would’ve been stuck with a QB(s) nobody else wanted to touch in the 1st round.

    Bro, the entire league sees through Levis. I understand the Stroud concerns (making peace as best I can) but the Levis love can stop...

    I think 3 things are true:
    1. We paid a **** ton
    2. That was the market value (literally the most talked about trade position leading up to draft for weeks)
    3. Demeco loves Will Anderson THAT much

    o, 4 things:
    4. 2 and 3 make me ok with 1.

    I’m gonna need time to get over the asset management disfunction with this trade. I’m sure I’ll get over it eventually, but I just can’t stop shaking my head right now.

    I mean Carolina gave up more to also move up 9 spots.. sure one was for the #1 pick but one was for Will Anderson which was thought to be #1 worthy. Also, we have a ton of picks. And trades have to sting a little, it was 12 to 3. I only wish it was a second round next year.. I wanted 33.

    I don't agree with 2. The hype about the third pick was over qb chaos that would ensue if the Texans passed on one at 2.

    From the athletic.

    They also used their second first-round pick, and the 2024 first-rounder that they got from the Browns, to jump up to No. 3 where they got edge rusher Will Anderson. So new coach DeMeco Ryans kicks off his tenure by landing franchise cornerstones on both sides of the ball.
