Kings clinch a playoff berth for the first time in 16 years. The last time they were in the NBA playoffs, the iPhone hadn't been invented yet lmao
Nope. Clippers needed to lose to drop to 6. Clips hold the tiebreaker over GS phx vs clips & sac vs GS 1st round
Kings gone Hollywood with these prices? How many long-time fans that have waited almost 2 decades for this moment are gonna get priced out? hope it doesn’t affect the playoff atmosphere…when I think Kings home crowd, I think engaged and deafening
16-year playoff drought and these people haven't saved up this whole time?? Yes I know, some people don't have the means, not trying to make this an argument.
Sacramento became San Francisco 2.0. Tons of well-paid tech workers fled to there when their jobs went remote. It's a lot fancier than it used to be and home prices in nice neighborhoods are up around $750k now. So not surprised to see the Kings charging out the *ss.
homes going for 750k in a nice neighborhood in Sacramento seems incredibly cheap…COL in Sacramento has gotta be much lower than many parts of California if those are the home prices, then it’s nowhere near being San Francisco 2.0, but kings out here charging Laker prices for tickets…just hope we don’t see a different type of crowd for the playoffs
I mean it's obviously a lot cheaper than San Francisco, but my point is that it isn't the working class haven it once was You're right those prices are crazy though
Same goes for the last time the Rockets accomplished anything significant, huh? Lol. Hell, “dial up” internet was still the rage back then. Touting playoff appearances is akin to touting “division titles”. If you don’t bring home the ultimate hardware, who cares? None of it matters. Celebrating 2nd-16th place ribbons is for losers.
imagine a Kings fan of all people acting this uppity and entitled so according to u, this entire season has been completely meaningless because we all know the Kings are nowhere close to being a title contender
Why even follow a team then? If this is the mentality, most franchises are not going to be competing for a title indefinitely, so what encourages to even follow a team? I've had a **** load of fun since the Rockets last won a championship. Sure every season we were suppose make noise ended in disappointing, but nonetheless, I still had a great time. Title or bust mentality is really silly, since there is no point of following a team then.
Everybody in the world is picking the Warriors bc they're the Warriors and not the Kings because they're the Kings. Reminds me of 2021 first round when people were convinced the Lakers were going to clown the Suns.
