I mean there’s a difference between playing the sasser primary role and being the mark role like he was at temple. His shot isn’t even that great. Terrance is a better 3 pt shooter than he is tbh. He’s just young. Sharp is a better shooter than Dunn also.
Sharp and Arceneaux are just not dependable at this point. They both have tons of potential and by the end of next year they may both may show you prophetic. But for now going into the Big 12 we need veteran proven players. Now if we can get a veteran shooting guard to replace Sasser and a veteran for real big man down low I think we are set. If we have Shead returning, along with one more veteran guards from the portal, move Roberts to the forward spot, with a true center from the portal at center I think we will be set. Imagine that with Arceneaux, Shatp, and either R. Walker or Jefferson backing up guards and Francis and one of the recruited freshman backing up the bigs. This is where I hope we are heading. We have a lot of good young players but it is going to take a little more than what we currently have now on our roster to compete when we move up in competition in the Big 12 next year.
Insanely stacked backcourt. If the newbs in the front court are as advertised this team is gonna be dangerous.
I’ll admit not who I was expecting as replacements for sasser/mark but this program has brought out the best in a lot of guys before them. Both are excited to be here and Anxious to see how they fit
I saw on the other forums a possible stretch 4 transfer but I think someone would need to transfer out to free up a scholarship, but if someone is good enough you make room.
