At all costs, the Rockets need to force Alperen to shoot a zillion threes this off-season. It unlocks god-damn everything for everyone. I might be in the minority, but I believe in the Tari+Jabari+Sengun frontline long term.

The Rockets have had the fortunate and unfortunate privilege of drafting or signing some talented foreign players that have brought in a contingent of "OFs". Yao, Lin and now Sengun. It's the same story every time. Those of us that have watched the NBA for a long time understand what works and what doesn't. For the most part at least. I remember the "Linbreds" constantly bashing Harden for minimizing Lin's impact. I still vividly remember a Taiwanese website writing a whole article about Lin's Game Winning Assist (to Harden). It was wild. Lin was probably better than KPj but still had a bad basketball IQ. Sengun is much more talented than Lin but his issues physically are incredibly apparent. Especially in certain matchups. Everyone should be able to see that. But the OFs don't. And then they cause a ruckus amongst actual Rockets fans.

Hard to agree. I can spot many posters who are long nba watchers and do not have a clue. The OF'ers catch your eye because they come altogether and they post mostly about their player. I am sure over time there are houston fans who come into forum with wild takes and very little basketball knowledge and stop posting some time later. You just don't remember them because they don't join the forum 5-10 at a time, and keep posting on one player. I think it is the best to avoid labeling people and interact decently or choose not to interact.

The Rockets don't give a **** about offseason training. Once the new season is back, Silas will give them a cheat sheet for the first practice and act surprised and grateful they did the 5 laps. We got boomers out of date trainers running this show.
