man this thing was so lame. I didn't like it at all. I was bored. This thing happened last year and it feels like it happened 20 years ago. I don't think any jokes landed for me.
It was okay. Surprised Netflix hasn’t put out how many viewed their first livestream event yet. Are they still counting? The Will Smith stuff wasn’t much of anything and was probably the worst material. Jada got the brunt of it. So, I guess Will has some more slapping to do.
He had OJ Simpson and Kardashian jokes which is all you need to know. I chuckled a couple times but it was pretty boring.
For a profession that's built around having jokes that are topical a year is an eternity. I understand it takes a while to work out a new routine, but waiting a year seems like a missed opportunity. I would have been interested a couple months after but this seems like ancient history at this point.
So I went when he had his show in Sugar Land in November. That was the night of game 6 of the WS so we couldn’t get out of our tickets. Of course they had us put our phones in this bag and locked it so we couldn’t see the score of the game. However when the game was over someone ran from the lobby and yelled “Astros won the WS”. It was cool and everybody cheered causing a stoppage of the show lol
