It was dysfunctional with Morey too. When you let 1 player do any and everything he wants without accountability , then you're doomed from the word go. Harden did anything he wanted because he was a baller until the playoffs.

If the Rockets' new coach is smart he is going leverage the KPJ situation strategically. Move him to 6th man and push him hard. If he responds, the Rockets have a valuable role player. If KPJ implodes, he gets benched/cut and becomes a lesson in accountability.

Here is the solution. Sooner it happens the better the team as a whole will heal. We need a change and IF Porter can’t or won’t make that change happen with the TEAM… THEN let him quit. To just cut him is counterproductive and makes little to no sense. Cutting for doing what was allowed by the management team (Silas’s coaching staff) is crazy. Give him a chance to be the player the organization invested in. Let the TEAM know what the expectations are and ask if anyone doesn’t WANT to be a part of our TEAM. If he wants out let him quit. Then and there. Use the media to share the information.

I know, it was terrible, I'm so glad not to be watching that anymore!

Fanboys don't realize Morey pulled the wool over their eyes with Harden, and the wool is OFF

To be fair, we rode Harden like our favorite Harley every year until the wheels fell off or locked up.

Problem is DD and Bobby don't realize KPJ is a moped.

It's a business decision for me but I am not as high on him as you are, not close.

    I also don't trust management.

Wouldn't cut him, wouldn't play him a lot, just let it ride out.

Uh, lots. He's a non guaranteed deal after the first year. Any team could trade for him and then cut him to save cap space.

I suspect a team will see value in him first to put him in their culture to fix him knowing it's virtually risk free.

Even if he's unplayable the contract has value in a salary dump. That can be useful...

I think we have one in TyTy but our offense is just set up terrible. Smith just chills in the corner and Green and KPJ are not very good distributors but I still think there is all kinds of talent there.

Not to mention with Walls contract gone we will have cap room when we actually start trying to win.

Jabari is having some of his worst stretches without Green and KPJ in the line up. At the end of the day those two at the very least do draw defensive attention
