Eric finishes his Rockets tenure as Houston's #17 scorer all time, a spot he will likely hold for many years given our youth and turnover. Eric's a Houston legend to me, great teammate and part of the most successful run in over 25 years. I hope he wins a ring.
Shame we couldn't get him to an actual contender, thankful for his time during the Harden years, just a shame we kept him past his sell by date.
Happy he's gone. Happy for him too! The return was disappointing, but freeing up those minutes is huge.
Many thanks, Eric. Even up to the end I enjoyed his drives to the basket through heavy heavy traffic. My wife who was an avid Rockets fan, but has stopped since she doesn't recognize any of the players. Stopped the other night and said". "There's Eric Gordon !" and watched for a couple of minutes. She is now a fanatical Astros fan.
As much as we wanted to move on from him, he will be missed. It was purely a bball decision and he will always be loved here.
"Oh my, someone call the National Weather Service! We had an unanticipated storm in the building tonight! Homeboy was raining threes down on these fools. BAM! BAM! BAM! One after another. They'd lose track of you and BOOM! Another one! That was sweets to see. You keep shootin' like that it's gonna make a huge difference for us." -Eric Gordon, around 2014-15 Thanks for the memories
Thanks bruh for leaving. Never liked your game and you didn’t do anything memorable. David Wesley clone.
Thank you EG! Has only committed one foul in his tenure during Houston and that was the one committed last game.
Thank you EG. Always appreciate your professionalism and consistency. Wish you good luck in Los Angeles.
Frustrating player sometimes in his inconsistency, ball handling, drives, and general attitude at any whistles lol, but can't deny he played pretty solid with us for quite some time. He came up really big every now and then, and in a way I'll miss him, but then again it feels like he and the rest of the team I loved have already been gone for 3-4yrs or so haha.
He was a perfect 2nd/3rd option since he arrived here. Without him we wouldn't have been close to almost beating the Warriors.
