I don't think this is fair to CWood, his strengths and weaknesses were already well-defined prior to Dallas acquiring him. CWood has fully delivered on expectations this season, he's come off the bench for the majority of this season without a hiccup and is performing above his career averages in a number of categories.

Yes, Dallas is among the bottom of the league in rebounding, defense, and assists, and it makes complete sense for Dallas to move Wood for a better fit to shore up some of their weaknesses, but to blame that on Wood himself is wrong, he's been a pro this year.

How many years, nobody knows for now. It's probably still only for two. Even if Wood doesn't accept it, it's a good sign Cuban is finally ready to spend on this team. And he once said he will pay luxury tax only for a team that he believes can win a championship.

Well now that the Mavs have 2 ball-dominant players in their backcourt, I’m sure Christian Wood be fine with fewer touches and will embrace doing all the dirty work he excels at: setting solid picks, strong interior defense, passing, and hustling for loose balls. Should be a perfect fit. :p;)

Pretty sure it's his attitude. He thinks he is a franchise level player and he believes he already worked himself to be a respected player. That's not the case so he probably butts heads with everyone.

I agree, if certain Mavs were to get (mentally) healthy in time for the playoffs, they could be hard to beat. Seems unlikely, however.
