    by their own timeline, it entered US airspace on the 27th, 8 days ago, and Biden gave the shoot down order on Wednesday, after it had been discovered by the public. now, maybe sleepy Joe really is the brightest witch of his age, but the more relevant question might be:

    what did Biden know, and when did he know it?

    You still seem to be missing the idea that there may have been reasons to not shoot it down. Again, the world is not as simple as "bad guy = kill it". But sure, keep digging yourself deeper into conspiracy theories instead of admitting you were wrong about NORAD and US intelligence.

    It's so funny watching libertarians, Republicans and democrats all coming together to hate on China. There's nothing more Americans hate than other nations messing with our national security. It unites us within minutes and it's funny because Americans are arrogant as ****.

    Basso hates Biden and US intelligence and military officials more. As do these guys:

    “Allowing a spy balloon from the Communist Party of China to travel across the entire continental United States before contesting its presence is a disastrous projection of weakness by the White House,” said Mississippi Sen. Roger Wicker, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

    Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., tweeted: “Now that this embarrassing episode is over, we need answers from the Biden Administration on the decision-making process. Communist China was allowed to violate American sovereignty unimpeded for days. We must be better prepared for future provocations and incursions by the CCP.”

    It hilarious that Chinese politicians are now talking about "overreaction" and "protecting commercial interests".

    We should have a couple dozen American weather balloons "accidentally" get released over China proper and see if they still feel the same way.
