I hope you’re right, he’s an Alabama guy like DeMeco. Lovie was glad to get him and he was likely not used correctly. I hope he’ll be flying all over the field.
No idea if he’ll be a good head coach but it was a no brainer hire. Optimistic and the Texans don’t get put together often but this is a start.
Lynn should never be the play caller ever but he has value and knowledge coaching running backs and tight ends. Plus he's been a head coach in the league, he'd be a great add to the staff but he should never be in position to call plays

He won’t. There's a very good reason Bienemy doesn't get hired. He's a scumbag. Demeco is a stand up class act
This is the first time I’ve felt good about this organization in a long time. I think they will allow DeMeco to fill out his staff the way he sees fit. I’m going to give Cal credit. I see real effort, he’s not hiding from anything. I think he cares about winning. We will see moving forward. LFG!
Not complaining just pointing out the facts. Sorry if that rubs you the wrong way or kills the buzz from the battlered koolaid. Unlike yourself, I never cared about what the national media had to say (looking at you SAS). But at the same time, burning through two minority head coaches in two years after not giving them a chance at success is simply not a good look for any organization. All that did was feed the narrative about this organization being a joke. Things have sunk so low over the past four years that Houston football fans have been in denial and made excuses for the dimwits running this organization and I understand. But nothing will change until folks like yourself start holding them accountable for their incompetence in running this organization into the ground. Hiring Demeco does not absolve them of anything because now we need to see them give him the resources and authority to succeed.
