It "seemed" like KC got most of the calls, but that hit out of bounds was the bone headed incident of the entire playoffs. OT was right there, and poof it was gone.
Bengals got completely robbed. "If Burrow had a competent O-line..." sounds like a broken record at this point, but it's still true.
Mahomes grew up and played high school football about 15 miles from where we have lived for the last 40 years. So of course we were cheering for a Chiefs win. Great game. Too bad someone had to lose and it ended the way it did. Chiefs vs Eagles should be an interesting Super Bowl. I would guess Philly will be favored by 4 or 5 points maybe more. Two weeks will hopefully give Mahomes, Kelce, and other nicked up Chiefs a chance to heal up and be ready to play at full strength.
Burrow looks good, but he isn't putting the ball in the endzone when it counts. 20 points is not enough anymore. We need to see the Bengals finish a drive the last two seasons.
Chiefs were down their best LB, best CB, top 3 WRs, had a banged up TE and QB and fought their hearts out til the end. When's the last time we could say that about the Texans? Can you imagine Lovie or Bill making the calls in that situation? LOL
There was a point in the game where I think the Bengals really lost the game. It was 20-20, Bengals had the ball and it was a 2nd & 3 and 3rd & 3 which Burrow heaved home-run passes, when the offense could have just settled for a check down, gotten a first down and continued to drive it down the field. Would have kept the ball, wouldn't have given it back to Mahomes, and ball control would probably equate to getting points on the board with little time for Mahomes.
I wish I could get behind this, but Philly fans are such incomprehensible trash. I guess I prefer the eagles win tho
