KJM is a lottery pick in these past two drafts. So at least a lottery pick for him now.

We have enough picks and young players. Time to start building a roster.
KJ is 21 years old. Turns 22 in January.
We need another draft pick to draft another 20 year old?
“It’s about acquiring picks for a star!” They don’t have enough draft picks for a star?
And they absolutely should not attach KJ to move Gordon.

“We don’t want any more (late) first round picks so we’re keeping Gordon!”
*Trades Wood for late round pick*
*Wants 1st for Gordon, 1st for Martin*

    *Draft player*
*Player turns out good* (52nd pick in this case)
    *Trade player for future first*
*Hope future pick is as good as player just traded*
*If he is, trade him for future pick*

When they trade Martin and keep 35-year old*27 Jae’Sean Tate

I'd want value equivalent to to a 10-15 for both. That said, it's time to cash in EG for two early 2nd's or a late first. If we trade both ~17 and two picks between 31-36 is probably about right given lotto picks will be hard to come by in this draft. Unless we want to wait until the lottery which I think is a bad idea given a ton of players could eat the minutes.

Expect a lot of this over the next couple of seasons. It sucks, but some guys are gonna have to go in order to free up playing time. I expect about 4-5 young guys to be gone by 2024

DO NOT TRADE KMJ unless you're getting a top 20 pick which you won't get trading with Phoenix or Milwaukee unless they get another team involved. He's going to be a star in this league.

Why? So we can get another young and promising player like KJM? It’s just stupid.

I don’t want 2 years to train a low lottery pick. We all love Martin’s energy

Actually we draft late 1st round players and they won’t get playing time from Silas anyway.

    Just keep KJ Martin.

id trade Ego for a bag of chips... cause he's a zero asset at the end of the year... so id take whatever i could get and open up the minutes...

kmj... id take a lottery pick... not bc id wanna use it... but as a package piece for the off season... id plan on swinging for a disgruntled star or using it to move up for Wemby or Scoot (if needbe)...

i think kmj will still have trade vale... but if i can turn him into a 'locked value' asset AND open up the minutes for others...

No need to do this just to move EG. Keep KJM and give him EG’s starting role.

Waive EG. KJ is worth more than 4 crappy 2nd rounders and EG is worth squat at this point to a rebuilding team.

Waiving EG = KJ and Eason becoming more valuable players. So don’t get hung up on losing EG for nothing if that happens. You are gaining a lot of value in those two youngsters taking that next step.

Of course if we can move EG for a 2nd rounder or two without losing anything else in the process (including future cap) then great. But I think EG has almost no value at his salary. His inability to get to the rim anymore tanks his value beyond what a Troy Daniel’s or Wayne Ellington gives you.

See what you can get for EG of course but at some point if the markets not there just waive the guy. No need to help another team and hurt ours by gifting good young players we are tying to draft in the first place.

KJM is KJM but the mystery box could be anything! It could even be a KJM!

If we get Beauchamp Saric plus two second round picks, I'm okay with all of that. Beauchamp has a unique build and can play both guard and forward. By all reports, he is an upstanding young man with a good moral compass too. Beauchamp and KMJ are a push, imo.

It is crazy that nobody is mentioning Tate but everyone wants to include Kenyon in some kind of deal.

No one wants Tate with an injury right now.
