Wow, it would take me forever to figure it out based on percentages. Here are a few of the time consumers:

-working out (not sure if it counts as "spare" time)

-practicing music (though, if I become "semi-professional", that's not exactly "spare" either. But I like to have something other than the science lab going on.)

    -lying around doing nothing/ sleeping

    -long conversations

    -eating out

    -TV (only in small doses)

-whatever's going on (concerts, lectures, plays, Coffeehouse, community service, anything people are getting together and doing)

-the Internet, including a certain bbs...

    lotsa poker and basketball.

although i must say, the bball is getting kinda boring. the competition is getting scarce b/c players are not returning. i suppose it might have alot to do with people fighting and shooting (literally) each other over calls and trashtalking.

    I have two kids.

Which means my "favorite" thing happens less often, and at the same time is directly responsible for "why."

When do you make time to watch CNN & listen to Air America? :)
I say you can squeeze in a few seconds between 9:33 and 9:34 AM.

And where does basketball fit into your schedule?

As for me, my only goal for each day is to have no goal.

Don't listen or watch to either. All cable news sucks and I tried Air America once...not my cup of tea at all. I don't dislike Rush Limbaugh and his contemporaries just because their conservative. :)

I've been waiting for my invite... :)

    You're my hero Peter LaFleur.

Typical day for me during the week:

5:35 A.M. - Wake up and then take shower followed by shave
5:55 A.M. - Get my dog, Jake, up
6:00-7 - Take Jake outside, read the Internet, check email, watch TV, eat breakfast, and get dressed for work
    7-7:30 - Drive to work
7:30 - 11:30 - Work and depending on how things are dictates whether or not I am spending time here (lately things have slowed down somewhat so I have been able to spend more time surfing the Internet)
11:30 - 1 - go to work out (run 3 miles on Tuesdays and Thursdays) followed by lunch - today I didn't work out because I was invited to lunch by a friend.
    1 - 5 - resume work
    5-5:30 - Drive home
5:30 - 10:30 - I'll spend time with my family followed by eating dinner and also will watch TV like Seinfeld, surf the Internet, listen to music, spend time on OOTP, playing with Jake, and other various things
10:30 - sometimes I will go to bed at that time depending on how tired I am - other times, I will stay up until 11:30

On the weekends, I pretty much stay up until 11:30 or midnight and I will take as many naps as possible on Saturday and Sunday along with going to church on Sunday.
