Wow, it would take me forever to figure it out based on percentages. Here are a few of the time consumers: -working out (not sure if it counts as "spare" time) -practicing music (though, if I become "semi-professional", that's not exactly "spare" either. But I like to have something other than the science lab going on.) -lying around doing nothing/ sleeping -long conversations -eating out -TV (only in small doses) -whatever's going on (concerts, lectures, plays, Coffeehouse, community service, anything people are getting together and doing) -the Internet, including a certain bbs...
typical weekday: 8.5 hours - work 7 hours -sleep 1 hour - transportation 2 hours - internet --- messenger/bbs/email/etc. 1 hour - eating - reading newspaper. the rest -- whatever i choose to do with friends -- play hockey, poker, basketball, football, etc.
lotsa poker and basketball. although i must say, the bball is getting kinda boring. the competition is getting scarce b/c players are not returning. i suppose it might have alot to do with people fighting and shooting (literally) each other over calls and trashtalking.
I have two kids. Which means my "favorite" thing happens less often, and at the same time is directly responsible for "why."
- Playing with my kids -Working on my cars -Practicing music - Playing golf - Doing various chores around our property -surfing the internet -playing some PS2

When do you make time to watch CNN & listen to Air America? I say you can squeeze in a few seconds between 9:33 and 9:34 AM. And where does basketball fit into your schedule? As for me, my only goal for each day is to have no goal.
Don't listen or watch to either. All cable news sucks and I tried Air America once...not my cup of tea at all. I don't dislike Rush Limbaugh and his contemporaries just because their conservative. I've been waiting for my invite... You're my hero Peter LaFleur.
