I'd love to see more motion with the intent of shooting concepts set up. Jabari needs to do himself the favor of making his wide open shots - he's getting plenty of those. Once the guy is automatic like most of us think he can be these guys will look for him more. Hard for "vets" (I use the term loosely) to trust a rookie who's struggling when they are trying to silence critics as well. All these guys need to learn how to operate as a cohesive unit. Starts with trust and accountability. They are not a team yet. Chemistry sucks right now, but good thing is that aspect can improve with more court time together.

I agree KPJ should do a better job of identifying shooters and use the gravity he creates for the overall team benefit. Hope he gets better. Lucky for Rocket fans that the contract/player wont be hard to move or walk away from if/when an improvement has to be made. Everyone needs to chill out and embrace the tank the same way this team seems to be doing.

Tanking is giving up, this is rebuilding. Don't mistake the two

we are still trying to win, just don't have the experience to win much

Usman Garuba was the only Rocket with a defensive rating under 100 yesterday. He was great on defence. He really is showing his potential on that end of the court.

    Garuba 96.3
    Mathews 100
    Nix 107.0
    Porter Jnr 107.4
    Eason 107.5
    Gordon 107.7
    Smith Jnr 111.1
    Martin Jnr 116.7
    Green 118.3
    Sengun 119.7

yikes…some of those defensive ratings are atrocious when the Clippers as a team posted a measly 111.2 offensive rating

The Magic beat the GSW... lol

Silas needs to stop taking young team as excuses of his incompetence.

I don't mind the fouls. He's going to get 4-5 in 15 minutes until the respect comes. His defense and hustle are something else though. The impact is there, as advertised. He doesn't do it with flopping. He doesn't do it with elbows and intimidation tactics. Mans is just gifted with lightning for hands and feet.

If it wasn’t for the all mighty astros god knows where we would be. Rockets are probably the worst team in the NBA and the Texans the same in the NFL.

At some point, professional basketball players take control of their own fate. They can’t wait for someone on the bench to motivate or help them figure it out.

LOL we could have won it all perhaps already in this 3 years wasted...YES rings and all

1.for gods sake yanis a player that cant even shot has won it all...

    2. 40 years old and injured cp3 almost won it... had HC and 2-0 lead in the finals
    3. butler a player thats not shooting 3s almost won it...he was a missed 3 pointer near the finals and all he had was a bunch of injured players, second rounders and undraftees with him...

    TAKE THAT FOR DATA
and get that loser defeatist mentality outa houston!

is that crazier or this miami team getting a missed 3 pointer away from the finals?

also bear in mind they were thoroughly injured and if healthy would probably have won it all

    adebayo pick no 14
    herro pick no 13
    jimmy butler pick no 30
    kyle guy 55
    dedmon undrafted
    markieff morris 13
    duncan robinson undrafted
    max struss undrafted
    lowry 24
    pj tucker pick no 35
    omer yurtseven undrafted
    gabe vincent undrafted
    caleb martin undrafted

so why rockets couldnt have won it all it they went all in....traded for a superstar and all that...?

they could have... but defeatistic tanking culture forbids them to even have a go at it until they first lose for half a decade lolololol

remmeber also this and ever worse miami team went to the finals as well 3 years ago

with a good coaching late picks, undraftees and second rounders can beat superstars like harden and embiid...and because they did it we can do it also...especially because we already have alperen sengun - one of the best players in nba

herein indeed are signs and lessons for people who use their powers of reasoning....
