I’ve not lived there since the late 70s (now in AZ) but if I did I’d go. Not many chances in life to see your team in a WS

Having worked in Phoenix during a mild summer (only averaged 114) and one floor below the floor targeted for a bomb, I found it works well for misters to cool things off. But 114 is still HOT, even with it's low humidity.

I bought my two field level seats after Game #2, purchased plane tickets, rental car and hotel as well. I was certain the Stros were going to the WS and with the Dodgers out I knew the home game would be Saturday. Glad it worked out.

Took my 17 year old son to Game #2 at Dodger Stadium in 2017 for the extra inning win and now my wife this time around.

That’s my own feeling. I haven’t lived in Houston for decades now having lived in Minnesota, California, Massachusetts and Singapore since but My heart and fandom is still with Houston.

I fly in tomorrow morning have meetings tomorrow afternoon and then plan to be down by MMP before the game.
Any good bar recommendations near MMP? I’m going to try to get a ticket from resellers at during the first inning but if can’t get a ticket will be happy to watch the game at a good place.

You walk in with them and they scan a bar code.

Biggio's. It's about 2-3 blocks away from MM right next to Discovery Green.

Is Biggio's owned by Craig Biggio? He was my favorite baseball player. Might be good mojo to be there.

Have bought tickets on Vivid but never stubhub. Has anyone purchased tickets for the game tonight on Stubhub and what the additional fee/service charge amount that they added?

Neil's Bahr is the ****. Go Stros!

1820 is cool, too. Sometimes on Fridays they open up the arcade next door, which will be wild after the game if it is.

Woodrows, 8th Wonder, Pitch 25, Cobos, Rodeo Goat, Truck Yard, all should be good spots out in EaDo.

    Absolutely!

To be honest, the best choice is probably 8th Wonder. It's an Astros-themed brewery with a great outdoor area, great beer, and great owners with great taste in music.

    Go Stros!

Seat geek was the cheaper option for me. I had same tickets in my cart on SeatGeek, Rick pick, stub hub, vivid and Ticketmaster…seat geek beat out all of them on ticket pricing.

They open up the arcade on the 1st and last friday each month. Should be today, and it'll be packed after the Astros win tonight!
