Dusty mentioned after Game 4 that Correa was instrumental in "passing the torch" to Pena before he left... I don't know how much of Pena's instant impact can be credited to his influence, but it's more evidence that Correa is a stand up dude, and is an Astro at heart. Starting at 7:30 mark:
I'm pretty sure he hates us 2 more times, 2019 and 2022. No evidence of cheating in either of those series, yet we somehow beat the Yankees. To me the most satisfying of those is the Altuve walk-off on Chapman in 2019.
Probably....what I'm surprised is someone said that Judge and Bregman texts each other throughout the season for the last couple of years(could have been just this year). Apparently they always talk about playing each other in the ALCS. Not sure if they talk about anything else. Doesn't matter though, it isn't going to happen. Dodgers are going to go after him. I hope they drive up the price but he ends up staying in NY.
Trust me, you don’t want to remember. It’s up there with the long list of historic Houston sports collapses
I had some model planes on my shelf that I made. After we lost game 5 I went out to the middle of the cul-de-sac in front on my house and smashed them with a hammer. In the dark. Had not done anything like that before or since.
