This smells like a Tilman decision. He saw how the fans reacted Boban, chanting MVP and asking for him to play. I’m thinking he was seeing this as an opportunity to bring more bodies into the stands. Boban is a nice guy but this was a bad decision.

It's not like Favors was part of the team's plans either. I get it that he could have been combined with Gordon's contract at the deadline but it's no guarantee that he would be traded.
