Like what I have seen thus far, but being cautiously optimistic. The Rockets have never really drafted a star player outside of a top pick. Chandler Parsons was the closest thing, and he did not make it beyond his Rookie contract, I was hyped for Sengun last year (mostly due to this board) and am starting to feel like I did about DMo, thinking he was on the cusp of being a star and just coming up short. Unlike Sengun, Tari looks like he doesnt have the type of short comings that would make him unplayable in specific matchups or require a specific group of players on the court to make up for short falls. The second we start needing a specific group to hold a guys hand while playing, that usually means they won't become a star.

So many modern teams have been built with guys that were taken in the middle of the first or even later like Booker, Jokic, Giannis, Draymond, etc. it is about time they hit on one of these later picks.

Idk why so many teams passed him up. He should’ve been a top 12 pick without a doubt, but glad he wasn’t!

OP is in legendary territory. We need you to start the 2023 class scouting cycle already.

Yes the dude’s an absolute stud!
He’s as advertised if not better

Rockets fans have waited for a dude like this for years if not decades! He has that Rodman/artest intensity on D where he thinks/knows he can stop anyone… and he’s backing it up. The offense is better than advertised though I think it’s likely inflated due to Sumer league and him hitting some lucky shots as well.

Time to shut Tari & Bari down. Let the g leaguers run the rest of the summer. TyTy and Christopher need to sit too.

Tari Eason is what he thought Garuba would be…he is a key piece in our rotation. He need a interior defender who is over 6’10…just block shots and rebound…that’s it.

Don't apologize to that dude. It's OK to ask a question. He's not an authority here. He spams tweets all day every day

He made a good point. Don't make it into something it's not. The irony of you telling me what to do and talk about authority is funny though

Can't keep this dude on the bench, can we? He's our best wing already.
