It looks like JV's fastball might not have it's normal action. The few batters he's gotten ahead of he hasn't been able to put away and he's not generating a lot of swings and misses right now.

At least there are plenty of pitchers who can throw long relief outings on the roster.

 

Hasn’t JV kind of always stunk in the playoffs?

 

I don't like our chances in Game 2. That was always gonna be the toughest game in the series IMO even with it being at MMP.

I knew that when I finally found a decent stream we’d stink the place out.

Statistically any playoff series is a crapshoot.

We have seen the Astros lose to two inferior teams in the playoffs.

We have seen the Dodgers **** the bed sometimes in the playoffs.

So a loss in this series isn't a massive upset really.... this isn't the NBA....

 

2.5-ish ERA in the DS, 3.5 in the CS, 4.5 in the WS. 3.40 in total.

I expected a bad start, but not this early. Really making Click question whether resigning him is a good idea.

He has stunk in the WS. Only poor game before the WS I recall is when he started on short rest againt TB.
