What’s the plan with Hunter Brown? He’s on regular rest, I would think they might piggyback him with Lance?
Does Hunter Brown have a nickname? Is it "Brown Streak"? I had a brown streak in my baseball pants when I was a kid. I dookied my pants right before a game and before I left my house to go to the game. I sharted. Mom had to clean those white pants real fast. Quite the memory. I guess I would have had that nickname if I showed up to the game like that. Or, "Monkey Stripe". Could you imagine me sliding into second base head first with a load on? I once got tossed from a game for poor sportsmanship. I was running to first base and frustrated with grounding out. I grabbed my helmet and tossed it. Unfortunately, I hit the first baseman with it and got the "heave ho". It was totally an accident. Then, I pouted behind the home plate fences nearly in tears and watched the rest of the game. This was pitching machines. I was young. lol
Yuli batting 6th last 2 games. Do we just have to wait for Dusty to inch him down to where he belongs in the order? Yuli should’ve been batting 8th or 9th for at least the last 2 months.
Jeremy has an .290 and an ops 820 when hitting 2nd in the order.(27 games) and it took an extra month to get him batting there again.
They might have that as an option rather than as a plan and see how thing go.I can see them mixing up the rotation because of multiple games off but getting back to a six pitcher rotation starting 9/9 when we have a string of 17 consecutive games. I don't think they really have a plan for more than a few days at this point.
(Cr/D/M)usty will not sit Yuli for more than the occasional game. Just get used to it. He's played 1B in 119 of the 131 games this season and it's not gonna change now.
I worked my way into being a pretty good catcher, my second game starting I was getting the business from my arch enemy sitting in the bleachers behind home plate. I called him a MFer under my breath but I didn't say the second part of said hyphenated profanity. The baptist preacher umpire heard the mother part, and threw me out of the game, and we were short so we had to forfeit. Coach kicked me off the team, and I never played organized baseball again.
If he is NOT hitting, and someone who can hit sits the pine, and we don't win the world series, this one WILL be on ( )usty and there won't be any denying it.
Thats not what he said. Playing him and hoping he hits while he doesn’t would fall directly on Dusty.
