ALCS has 5 straight games in Games 3-7 - that's interesting and new and changes some of the pitching dynamics. A 5th starter is actually useful.
Does anyone else think that national baseball writers and ESPN are seething at the fact that the Astros are in first place in the AL?
Ooh! Baby Boy is sooooo sensitive. Momma gonna have to wash your mouth out with soap for using all of those **** words! And Big Daddy gonna now put you on "Ignore" since you apparently can't take a joke.
Nah, the Dodgers are on pace to win 110+ games. FWIW, the gematria boys think Vin Scully will be the sacrifice that gets the Dodgers over the top this year. Really not looking forward to October if that’s the case, but I’ll put my money on it if they end up with exactly 107 wins.
Throughout the course of that playoffs, it went from somewhat planned when guys like Peacock were starting… to going by feel when LMJ was just rolling in game 7 ALCS… to downright necessary after Giles no longer was pitchable.
Should we pick up Zimmer? A 29 year old Center Fielder? Oh JESUS - I looked at his hitting he sucks....never mind. DD
Maybe because he's a fast runner and said to be solid defensively? But he doesn't provide anything that Meyers or McCormick don't, and being older he has less upside. He's never hit well at any time, either, and he's been given a lot of time to figure it out. Pass. I would not be opposed to signing Piscotty to a MiLB deal, and seeing if some time down there and/or a mechanical adjustment can "fix" him. Why not?
