happy with the new acquisitions. Give the stros a lot of options when it comes to the lineup. Shored up some holes on an already elite team. Stros still one of the teams to beat and favorites to win. Now time to play ball and get ready for the postseason. Hopefully Brantley is able to come back even if it is in a limited role. And McCullers return is not too far
Still don't get why they announce today that Castro had surgery from a week ago . . . and crickets with Brantley. I mean has he even picked up a bat in weeks? Very concerning.

The whole thing reads to me like they are both completely done this year and we traded for replacements. I know the board goes round and round on communication concerns related to injuries - but I've pretty much decided if they aren't saying anything, it is bad. If they are saying something, it is usually worse than they are saying. Consequently, not expecting Brantley back this year. Trey and Christian seem like good additions, but they aren't additions, they are replacements. C+
Click did a good job making this team better, and not way over paying for mediocre talent. If Reynolds or Mullins were not available, there was nobody else to get.
Meyers/Mccormick still our starting CFers, no clue on Brantley and Pena can't hit water if he fell out a boat.
