The definition thing is more one of those inflection points where it becomes clear to a certain group of people that previously hadn't that an institutional capture has taken place and that its now about loyalty creeds, with no connection to truth. But as for those other things being good, are they? if the usual suspects are fine, it probably means somewhat more of an issue, like the productivity itself, the stuff that usually doesn't break.
