i feel like die hard is his singular most iconic role. its bruce willis at his most bruce willisist.

its also the movie that broke him into superstardom.

What is the "least bruce willisist" big movie he's done?

Like a lot of star level movie guys, he always seems he always plays himself, and that seems kind of like what people want from their tentpole actors.

Probably the Sixth Sense. I really like his performances in Sin City, Unbreakable, The Siege, and The Jackal too though. Die Hard, The Fifth Element, and Pulp Fiction are great movies with Bruce Willis in them, but I wouldn't call them his best performances.

There is this unusual movie called 4 Rooms. It is 4 stories all from the same hotel. Bruce Willis is in the last story. Different kind of movie.

As good as he was in The Sixth Sense and The Die Hard movies, I think he was even better in Unbreakable.

To be honest, about half his movies were **** (none worse than the one he did with Tracy Morgan). But when they were good they were really good.

I liked him in the Last Boy Scout, Unbreakable, and the original Die Hard. Looper, also.
