    kid: Dyson Daniels. I was laughed at and now he is projected top 5 possibly.

    if the rockets avoid Chet and Paolo, it will be good. Ivey shot looks like Leon was in Above the rim.

    But I don’t see the overall fit with green. Daniels is my favorite player in the draft An Ozzie in the vein of Ben Simmons and Giddey.

    There's truth to this, as some scouts (R. Barlowe) for example one time had a throwaway comment about when GMs talk to each other, some do flex that they're able to grab a guy from top school (a blue blood). Was little surprised that GMs do that.

    As far as group think; despite people's best efforts, media absolutely do influence each other. Towards the end of draft (last week or so), as I read across different mocks, the pros + cons, and fit the likely team, many read like copypasta; few deviates.

    That said I also wouldn't disqualify a prospect because they might be a consensus or is from a prominent school.
