Rivian must be doing pretty bad if all their major investors (Amazon/Ford) are dumping their shares. My guess is they're far behind their production projections, and with all the supply chain issues, they're going to be burning cash like crazy. I do like their trucks although a waitlist till 2024 is pretty nuts.

    Selling TMV puts today.

Stocks regressing 5 years... Once housing falls 15%. Lulz at millenials... Getting fisted every 7 years or so.

Dust settles. Fast forward. You're 80. Find yourself in a nursing home. Plot twist - you work there, you're a janitor. Good luck, lulz.

Wait til TSLA goes to $350.

On the bear funds while they're not BRIGHT green for once. Suckers.

If you're LONGGG just stop looking and add some every week. Otherwise... shave your butthole and prepare. TSLA to $299.50.

closed out all my credit / credit spreads, which took a beating.

taking a "play it safe" posture is to just sell covered CALLs against the stocks i own.
save up for 2023. which can't possibley as volatile as this year.

when market is this volatile, all the TA and fundamental analyses go out the window

Those CDs are at 4% now here in Canada and they'll keep going up. Even regular old savings accounts here are offering teaser 2.5% rates for 6 months. The US just raised its interest rates a little later so this stuff will all catch up (although US banks have more sources to borrow money from so they tend to give out lower interest). Hell I can get a normal US Dollar account at a Canadian bank that gives 1.25% interest.

By fall, we'll all be throwing some cash into CDs again :) If you haven't maxed out your i-bonds for the year, go do that.

TSLA isn't down enough yet this year. It's time will come. It's going to BURN. Elon selling shares. His brother selling. Right under yalls noses. Even Cathie selling.

If the companies aren't making enough actual money RIGHT NOW (not MAYBE later), they're gonna get torched.

What do they do RIGHT NOW? In THIS moment? Sell cars, tequila and a blow torch? Good luck.

I bought some SPY today and started moving money over to buy another CD. May move some more to a better savings account.

Yeah, he'll be making $75k/year flipping burgers but a Big Mac is going to cost $50. *sigh*.
