Warriors are tough to beat when Curry & Klay are both shooting well. However In this game, it's pretty much the entire team shooting well.

Not surprisingly, MEM is down big despite another great performance thus far from Ja Morant AND shooting over 45% from 3 as a team (11-24 at one point). MEM is going to need to solve the Warriors zone defense before game 4.

Barring a miracle or the Warriors turning into the TWolves... this game is over. Nice win for the Warriors despite a rough start to the game and Memphis making 10 out of their first 21 threes. Morant with another 30+ point performance , but MEMPHIS is in trouble heading to game 4 if they cant figure out the Warriors zone AND the Warriors shoot their average.

Another problem - MEM was the best rebounding team in the regular season and first round but have been at a disadvantage against the Warriors in the first 3 games.

The grizzlies haven't played their game in the entire playoffs.
Mainly because they took Adams out in favor of Tillman who hasn't done much.

Ja and Bane have been enough, but when you allow a team to double you up on rebounds, steals and everything else, it isn't going to work.

You spent the entire year gaining chemistry with Adams only to sit him. Makes no sense.

 

Warriors always getting by with other teams having injuries.

People seems like to Ja here, so I'm choosing my words carefully. The way he plays with contact while exciting for Grizz fans, is a risky type of hooping. I'm not sure this is good for him long term. That play style adds lot of mileage on that body. (young d-rose / young Wall comes to mind). Candle burn bright type of deal.

 

Under-rated comment. Adams is a big part of what they do in that space. While I get the rationale you can't play him because of mis-matches in the playoffs (against GSW), they miss Adams in those categories and Grizz don't seem to have alternatives with Adams sitting.
