Balderdash is my fave. Many classic moments from it...usually after everyone's drunk and it's devolved into who can come up with the most shocking/funny definition.

 

Played my first real game of Twilight Imperium 4 over 11 hours this weekend...and somehow won vs a bunch of vets. This game is absolutely amazing, some people call it 'Space Risk' but it's much more complex. I'm hooked and we're trying to set up a monthly game now.






We also played Return to Dark Tower several times. Super fun game.

 

Pretty heavy stuff...wish I knew people willing to dedicate that much time to a game.

I just got Red Cathedral, which I really enjoy after one play. Lots of things to consider at once, though nowhere near the level of Twilight Imperium. I'm slowly increasing the complexity of games I get to play with my girlfriend...1960: The Making of a President has been sitting on my shelf for over a year.

 

+1 for Catan and Ticket to Ride - great games.

Not sure if this extends to card games, but Get Rich Quick and Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza are easy, loud & fun...
