I'd rather him not get too pull-happy, 35 doubles and some bombs sounds good to me.

But, as fans we should be greedy.

I had a long, substantive discussion with a current Astros outfielder this offseason and he thinks Jake Meyers is going to be a STUD. All-star level talent.

It was not. All I can say is that the conversation was in English and he recognized that he was talking to a man with amazing hair. I cannot give any other hints out of respect for his privacy.

 

Confirmation that he’ll be on the opening day roster?

 

If Chas or Tucker told you that Meyers was going to suck, now that would be a story.

 

It was not difficult to predict based off what Meyers did last year in the minors and majors that he would likely have a chance to make a few all star games. Not sure after the injury...

 

Is there any timetable on Meyers return, would be nice if he only missed the first month
