Watson's situation is pretty unique, so I don't think those comparisons work. Driving drunk and getting in fights at strip clubs is just too far removed from serial sexual predator IMO. The actual best comparison is probably Ben Rothelisberger. But of course he didn't hit the open market immediately after his legal issues were resolved. As cynical as we may all be, there are many cases of players having their market value tank after cases of domestic abuse or sexual assault. But, to be fair, those players typically aren't quarterbacks.
Man. It's like two days before Christmas. Waiting to open a present. Between the supposed trade and keeping an eye on Astros free agency, IE Carlos, My phone battery is taking a whopping.
Same man lol. Really hoping for best possible outcome. Of course, Watson not being who he is and staying QB is the best outcome. But can’t change who he is.
I don’t know why, the Texans kept the guy hoping for this scenario ( paying Watson millions) the whole time. You have to put them at the head of the pack of people who didn’t give a damn.
I don't think another NFL team would have parted ways with him any earlier than the Texans will, and I haven't lost sleep over the way they've handled it either.
Can't believe its finally happening! Seems like we've been on pause for a decade. Hope Cas sets a new standard for MEGA TRADE so that Hershel Walker becomes a distant 2nd. Let's go!!
Pro Football Network speculates that a trade may not happen quickly since Watson will probably need time to visit with potential teams. Deshaun Watson Trade Rumors: Why the Houston Texans may need to wait to trade their star QB https://www.profootballnetwork.com/...xans-may-need-to-wait-to-trade-their-star-qb/
He'll be meeting over the phone or a video screen, if a team wants to see him in person every team owner has a jet. All that began on Friday, the trade will probably be announced within the next 24-48 hours
