You can take out China. Those CCP bastards are all for show. Stealing, bribery, espionage, honey trap, oppression of helpless people are their games. The moment they engaged in real combat, they will cut and run, check the recent border skirmishes between them and India.

 

It's more complex than that - you don't want to punish businesses by having their money trapped in Russia and unable to get it out. They didn't do anything wrong. So you have to give time for the world to prep for such a drastic move - it will affect more than Russia.

I was very critical of Biden during the withdrawal from Afghanistan but I’m not really sure what else he could’ve done. I highly doubt most Americans would’ve supported him putting US troops into Ukraine. At the same time if he said nothing that would not have been in acceptable either.

Dealing with a country that we aren’t treaty bound to defend and an authoritarian determined to invade that country I’m not sure much else could be done.

I find it shocking that the Russians aren’t concerned about what that radiation might be doing to their own troops. Then again I’m pretty sure Putin doesn’t care about the long term consequences.
