    This dude never shows his face in game threads and has the audacity to talk about "Harden quits" LOOOOOL

    This guy actually participates more in the Brooklyn Thread than he did in the GARM.

    also Harden doesn't always quit:

    https://www.espn.com/blog/houston-r...n-talks-about-playing-hoops-with-barack-obama

    excerpt;

    "It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to hoop with the president. He's a lefty as well, kind of crafty," said the left-handed Harden. "I don't know about his jump shot, but it was all smiles. We had fun. It was just a great time and it's a time that I will remember for the rest of my life."

    ***
    Harden, according to an account by Arthur Jackson, who played in the game, made the game-winning layup.

    "It was the first time I lost playing with the president," Jackson said in the GQ story. "Everybody was kind of shocked. And the president jumps up and he says, “I step off the court, we’re at 19-11, we need one basket, we’ve got the MVP [Durant] of the world championships on the court, and we can’t win? Are you kidding me?”

    Imagine playing with KD for 5 years and not winning a title.

    Word on the street is that Harden was not the first Houston Rocket to score the game winning basket against a sitting United States President. The Legendary Charles Jones (pictured below) and a few other hoopers from back in the day beat Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his boys while being viewed by sailors aboard the USS Missouri right before the Japanese leaders surrendered. Charles Jones put a shoulder into FDR and cleared out space to be able to put a finger roll in the peach basket for the win. The sailors sure were happy to watch the game but a lot of them were disappointed that Charles didn't yeet the Prez a little earlier in the game when FDR was rolling over everybody that got in his way.

    I believe this. Charles Jones was old 25 years ago...and couldn't hit a free throw.
