Dude way too premature @DaDakota, you had me thinking EG was gone for a second, he's just injured. Why put this up now?
I mean, EGo isn’t gone yet but that won’t stop me from appreciating the hell out of him. Consummate professional, good teammate, solid mentor and a sturdy guy. I’ll miss him and root for him to win a bunch of chips wherever he goes.
Lol why is everyone so scared to lose in what is a best case scenario of a late first round pick? Are you afraid we miss out on a guy like Garuba with the 23rd pick? Considering what we got for Lavert/Allen/Dipo this is looking like maybe a second round pick and an expiring contract lol.
We could be missing out on a Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli, or Sam Cassell too.
Anyone posting a fake news thread in the Rockets forum... “…will be banned as soon as it is seen/reported/found. I don't care if you registered in 2017 or 1999... your account will be banned. This is not a forum to create joke threads.” —Clutch [/QUOTE]
Well... it will be good for Eric to know that he is appreciated either way. He probably doesn't read Clutchfans simply because of the amount of "Gordan", though.
I don't think we have the GM to be able to evaluate talent and find those types of players in those draft positions. The Warriors and Spurs had elite front offices when making those selections. Our rebuild will be more like what the 76ers orchestrated, 5-6 years of being a very bad team, top draft picks, eventually you will get lucky and get one good player from it. We are 0-1 in finding a franchise player, we will try again next year. That is only if Tilman has the patience to follow through with a complete rebuild, if not we will look more like the Kings / Pacers. Even if you do find a guy that far in the draft and is decent, you think he would get playing time? Sengun is not a high enough pick to get minutes by this org.
Feel like we lost all our leverage with the Levert trade. That had to be one of the two teams offering us picks.
Agreed, this feels like click bait. It’s a bit obvious that Rocket management will defer trading anyone unless they get the established minimum return they’ve determined. Jumping the gun about trading a player who hasn’t been traded, is attention seeking.
