He gets too many touches given that he's one of the worst players on the team. If he wasn't drafted so high, he'd be headed to rgv
D-rock I like you man, we never had any problems before. We get too impatient because we skipped a rebuild and was fortunate enough to land James Harden. Jalen isn't going to be a star overnight, give it some time.
I have no problem being patient with Jalen bro, always said that he will not be ready for several seasons. But he's killing us right now. He needs to come off the bench IMO.
Send Jalen Green to Eddie,Murphy's barber. His hair style is like that dude 'Soul Glow' in Eddie Murphy's Coming to America movie with Arsenio Hall. It glitters too much. Let him get a decent haircut -- I want him to look like a marine. If that still doesn't raise his shooting percentage, then its official ---he's a bust. Trade the 2021 #2 pick for Bobby Brown or Scott Machado, or bring back Gerald Green. Or play Daishan Nix.
yeah this is going to take some time if wall isn't traded, he should play and maybe can help Jalen by being on the court
Garrison Mathews, Armoni Brooks for two. He doesn't get touches because he stinks right now, you don't give your worst starter touches.....he needs to PROVE he can play first. I don't give two ***** where he was drafted, if he can't play well, then he needs to grab some pine or go to the G- league and work it out. I am a firm believer in playing time is earned, not given. Guys luckily the organization does not believe at all in the nostalgic fantasy that we must play a vet who's playing better or that Jalen needs to earn anything more than he's earned between him and the coaching staff. These guys are mad that we are not putting 2022 regular season wins above everything else, and it's seeping through to these convos about who to start and bench. They do not want to accept we are rebuilding and prioritizing development acceleration. They are grumpy about it. The organization is going to start, play and gradually give more shots to Jalen Green. They said very publicly that they were prioritizing KPJ's development and then they would focus on Jalen. We're at the halfway point of the season, so we're going to wait for Jalen to return to efficiency for a good stretch of games and then we're going to start letting him dominate the ball a little more. Something he's more comfortable with and it's going to come to him naturally, I won't be surprised.
I don't think it's in question that the Rockets are prioritizing development, even if there's an odd example here or there.
Green should have never been gifted a starting role to begin with. Let the young man earn his dinner.
