Agreed - and people might be right on that front. We know black coaches face extra hurdles, so it's hard to say how good he'd be and whether his lack of job opportunities are his skillset or his race. Culley got hired to be a patsy. Flores got fired after going 9-8 and winning his last 8 of his last 9 games. All I'm saying is most people would probably say he's not worse than David Culley, so that's why they'd mock the Texans for not giving him an opportunity.
That's fair. That doesn't necessarily land us on Bienemy though. Clearly it hasn't landed anyone else on Bienemy either. Maybe they're all wrong...but it seems pretty evident that Texans fans have a higher opinion of him than NFL GMs do.
Just saying he looks to be a better candidate than any of these guys being given interviews lately. If you're going to take a chance then do it with the best of your current choices.
First...there are simply bigger things than just football and winning. Second...there has to be a reason why this guy hasn't been hired yet. He's interviewed all over the league the last few years and nothing. I don't think it's necessarily his past. I think there's something else related to the fact that he's not necessarily as good as he was made out to be...especially when you consider who he works for and who plays there.
He also has a BoB personality and kind of standoffish from what I’ve read. I don’t get the sentiment to bring that kind of guy in (also why I don’t think Flores gets the job) but I guess Texans fans have this reasoning for bringing in a coordinator that has it fairly easy with Big Andy and Patty Mahomey running the true show. Sidenote: Did anyone see the interaction of Mahomes and Eric B in the fourth? Patty walked over and threw his hands up in the air and was mouthing something and Eric B looked lost, speechless and looked at his play sheet lol.
I'm wondering if the consensus GMs have after interviewing is that the success they've experienced in KC on the offensive side of the ball is more to do with Andy Reid, Mahomes, Kelce and Hill than Bienemy. It may be when they talk to him about the details of offensive game-planning and strategy he comes off as less of a guru than the Chief's success would suggest. But that's pure speculation on my part.
Bienemy will be coach of KC in a few years.. I'd wait it out rather than take a HC job of a dumpster fire
It amazing how great a coach appears to be when he's got a fantastic QB on his team. Don't fall for that classic trap. It's a rookie mistake.
Yup…Kelce basically calls the last 2 plays and they execute perfectly. These guys are insanely talented.
The chances of Deshaun going to jail are below 0. While he is here they should do everything to keep him here. Crack Easterby and Trick Caserio need to be the ones thrown under the prison.
We’re going to disagree. Watson is a piece of **** and in no way would I want him representing my city or franchise. I’d take Tommy boy and a bunch of religious dumbasses over him any day.
