I think you've covered every single base with your back sliding argument. First, it was Mobley went to perfect situation, playoff team with Rubio as PG which inflated his numbers and productivity. Then it was no way Mobley plays as well if on Rockets. Now its every Cavs player who played on bottom feeder East team last season have ALL improved to playoff caliber and this has improved Mobley. Which team gets more wins? I would think even the biggest Mobley fans know the answer is still the cavs and it's not particularly close.
That's really hard to say because it would change everything. If the Rockets got Mobley, I think that means Wall is playing so the starting lineup would be something like Wall KPJ Tate Wood Mobley I think that team could be pretty interesting. The Cavs on the other hand, would be downgrading from Mobley to Kevin Love and then slotting in Green at SF next to Garland. Those moves completely destroy their defense which is a big part of why they are winning games this season. It's interesting to think about but doesn't really matter anymore. That ship has sailed.
