As a guy who went to a game against the Suns in 2017, a game we won only through late game Harden heroics, those weren't cheers of joy, they were cheers of relief.

Rockets have always lived in their heads even during their dynasty years. It's weird.

Green played excellent in every aspect except shooting the basketball...if he hits 1 shot then we win

Fan bases of rebuilding teams like to talk about "fun losses" when they compete or have a good outing. I usually call BS, because when those fun losses are mixed alongside getting walloped other nights, losing by less than 10 doesn't feel like much consolation.

Tonight wasn't a "fun loss," but it felt like a "good loss." Like maybe we're further along than most of us thought? Gordon didn't have his A game tonight, and we still held it together. Wood had it going in the first, but after that really tapered off (though he was great on the boards and defensively), and yet we still competed.

I think you have to be concerned about Green. It's not that he's missing shots, but that he's missing a lot of easy ones. Yeah, he should get to the line a few more times than he does. But he also needs to finish the easy ones, build out his at the rim repertoire, and knock down wide open looks from 3.

I thought Matthews, Brooks, KPJ, KJ, and Wood played phenomenal all night. Tate looked like he was having a bad game. Missed a few at the rim gimmes, defensively wasn't moving well, and threw the ball away a few times. He had mismatches on offense and I expected him to make a real impact, and he didn't. Not like KJ, anyways.

Wonder what this team will look like at the deadline. I will say this: after the scrum, I was ready to get rid of Wood. But now, if we're not getting real market value for him, we keep him. The Warriors don't have a player that comes close to matching up with him, and that's the case with a lot of teams in the league.

Worst game I ever watched from Green.

Stop wasting time on your haircut.

Just do what the gym rats should do!

I thought the Rockets played a great game defensively and offensively.

Silas is playing to the Rockets strengths which is quickness and a high motor. The way they pushed the ball and attacked tonight was impressive and clearly threw the Warriors off. For such a young team, it was an impressive performance.

Even Green played well in categories other than shooting.

ngl.. his defense on curry in iso was surprisingly good.. With all the slander Green is getting now.. I would have f*cked around and put Jalen Green on Curry for that last shot for a full meltdown or a heroic outcome

If silas didn't call time out, Green would have a chance toshoot free throws.

I go back to the 3 curry hit earlier when he ran around a screen and his teammate hip checked his defender for him giving him a wide open look...

Don't you know defenses plan to let curry shoot wide open?

Well, considering they have the 2nd best record in the NBA after losing 6 of their previous 9 games before this one... they're still alright. :D

That is why the Dynasty is over...the energy is not there as it used to be....they are on the downside of the curve.
