I don't think this was Sengun's best game. He had a bad first quarter and had a couple bad turnovers. He got most of his numbers when we were down by 8,000 points and the Cavs were coasting.
Well we were down 8000 points the entire game. He got 9 points in his first 8 minutes. His scoring was pretty consistent throughout, it's not like he piled this all up at the end of the fourth quarter. He checked in with 6 minutes to go in the game and only scored 2 points in that time.

In that case Gordon has a long way to go because I see him making bone headed plays all the time. I am tired of these coaches finding every fault in a rookies game but completely overlook the "vets" doing equally bad things. Currently Sengun is better than Green but they start green for 30 minutes a night. Why not pay the same respects to Sengun?

FWIW I am DELIGHTED to have Sengun on the team, what an amazing player and what a steal in the draft. Absolutely delighted that he is a Rocket and love watching his highlights. His fans, however, are showing some of the myopic flashes that the LOF (Jeremy Lin Only Fans) did.

The full quote from last night wasn’t bad. I don’t mind compliment then critique. The tweets about it made it seem like it was all criticism. They may be wanting him to do something different on defense, regardless he’s still one of the better defenders on the team. Might not be saying much because there isn’t a ton of depth in that department.
