So, I live in the River Oaks district and it has been getting odder and odder over here. Just went to Target for groceries which is walking distance. Was in there for 20 minutes. When I come out there are hispanics blaring music and drinking beer in front of the place. At least 50; mostly on bicycles blaring Tejano music. This was all in a span of 20 minutes. Never seen anything like it, but it isn't a good look for this area.
You may live in River Oaks, and you may walk to Target, but when you do….you’ve kinda left the River oaks bubble. Expect the unexpected.
I don't consider the River Oaks district River Oaks, but there is very expensive property here. And I go to that Target a lot. Easiest place to get groceries. I've never seen it look like that, but as I said, it wasn't a good look.
Strange. I was at Lou’s in Bacliff the other day and there were a bunch of old white people blaring the Eagles and drinking boxed wine in the parking lot.
Easiest place to get groceries but not Fritos, apparently And no, you're definitely not River Oaks material. Bellaire, I guess...
Went to Target, CVS and HEB. Finally got HEB's generic version, which is just as good. Will make Frito Pie soon.
Friend, you gotta do better to impress me. I have family stories and such from here in Johnson City about Lyndon when he was just a poor wannabe politician and worked for my great-grandfather at the General Store. That's a fine recipe for invalids and patients recovering from surgery.
I've posted it on here a couple of times, search for the most recent. It's a lot of prep work but it's worth it.
