Cooks wants out....... dude is a concussion away from setting his home on fire and hitting the road with Delonte West. There is no "building" around Cooks...... and he should be happy for Ingram because he is off the Texans now.
7th round pick for A washed up 31 soon to be 32 year old RB I’ll take it What where people expecting?? A 5th?? No team is giving that up for Ingram sorry. We also did right by him to send him back to NOLA. Caserio building up the good fortune with players and agents that will be good in the future. Same with Stone and the rockets
LOL It’s a 7th round pick (3 years from now). He’s not some damn genius for getting a 7th round pick for Mark Ingram. It’s not worth getting upset like Brandin Cooks either. Rudy:
So the Saints called and all they got was a 2024 7th rounder? I’d rather get a pick swap this year or next.
I agree. If he folds and take some low ball offer, I'm gonna be done with the Texans (not really). But I'm gonna be pissed. We traded away picks for players we ended up cutting or letting go. So he needs to hit a homerun with Watson trade or just wait til next off season.
The Cap Space in 2023 is GREAT. That's when the Texans will start to compete again. 2022 will be ok, cap space-wise.
Yes because we currently have 13 players under contract for 2023. And assume DW4 and Tunsil are gone by then, that number will skyrocket. But this also means having a ridiculous number of roster spots to fill out. This is not a knock on anyone btw. As far competing, I think it’s far too early to put a date on it personally. This roster is in absolute shambles.
Lol talking about salary cap I just remembered dumbass scarface selling to me the sht hopkins trade BoB did was for future cap space in order to build a contender. Right now we r like a turd in a toilet bowl. Lots of Cap space? no ones gonna want to play for us with the mindset of winning.
