Only thing I don't get is Stanek early and Javier late. That's not what we've done in the past.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there's a 3-way tie for the Astros offense as far as leading the way in RBIs: Altuve, Correa, and Maldonado . All have two RBIs apiece.

Yeah, that's pretty much why they play the games.

Didn't we basically lose to the Nationals in game 7 in a similar way, with late inning HRs. This feels awfully familiar.

What I don’t understand is yanking Grenkie early when he was having his best game of the year. Why not leave him in until he shows any signs of fatigue?

Javier choked the game away. Sad but true.

Usually I am a doomer and pessimist. But I legit feel like we are winning tomorrow. Offense is just on the cusp of breaking out again.

It's going to be at worst a short rested Max Fried or a rookie pitcher vs us tomorrow. The only person in the lineup I just have no faith in atm is Bregman. If he still had that cocky air to him like he used to, I would feel more optimistic about him breaking out. But he just is playing without confidence given he's not even trusting his usual plate discipline.

But again, our offense simply 75% of what it's capable of.

Our at bats were better today in regards to plate discipline. Altuve is heating up which is a big thing.

Urquidy has looked good last start, and a game 7 of Luis Garcia who was 2.34 ERA at home. And a Luis with that upgraded 96-97 mph fastball will be lethal. But we just need a league average offense to ensure it gets to that stage.

I know if I were an outside observer, I would think we are going to pull through. But this all assumes just simply average offense

Braves blew a 3-1 lead in the NLCS last year.

Framber gotta show up manana. Bats need an exorcism or something.

    Believe, mother****ers, believe.

Because their gm did an awesome job of getting key players during the trade deadline.

I'm not even joking when I think we will come back this series. As long as Framber has a good start tomorrow, our bats will finally break through. Once they finally heat back up, the 2 games at home are going to be ours.

Not taking advantage of early opportunities

The entire lineup not hitting with men on base

Raley not doing his job and putting 2 LHB on base

The entire lineup not hitting with men on base

Maton throwing 2 hangers to Riley

The entire lineup not hitting with men on base

    Stanek/Javier usage

The entire lineup not hitting with men on base

Javier grooving a FB and a SL back to back

The entire lineup not hitting with men on base

Lot of blame to go around.

A 3-1 lead in baseball is far less daunting than a 3-1 lead in basketball. To me this doesn’t even seem that insurmountable. Win one road game, and then you got two home games.

Don’t get me wrong, this will be tough and more likely not going to happen. But I am not out of hope.

Altuve was the only one that did anything.

Hell, dusty should have left Zack in there to bat.

I think of it like this too. Win 1 game, put doubt in their minds. They win game 5 and game 6 will feel like a must win for them too.

If you are up 3-1 the last thing you want to hear is 'Game 7'.
