    2017: Dodgers were the best team during the season. We snatched one that year.
    2018: Red Sox were very good and just outhit us. Hangover of sorts.
    2019: We were the best team in a long long time, but Scherzer and Strasberg were unhittable and in Game 7 Howie Kendricks hit a bizarre opposite field home run off of an amazing pitch by Wil Harris. We were winning going into the 7th and bad pitching decisions and a fluke HR by Kendricks doomed us. This was definitely the Astros best team. Best offense in 100 years and Verlander (Cy Young), Cole (peak), and Greinke headlining the rotation.
    2020: Valiant effort with a shorthanded team in a weird COVID year.
    2021: Giants/Dodgers were the best teams in the league... Tampa was the best team in the AL, yet here we are with chance, albeit diminishing.
