It's the lesser of two evils lol One could also substitute whataburger for taco cabana although you might still be hungover and have diarrhea the next day.
Not a weird storm at all. Just a strong low pressure system (extratropical cyclone) that is just moving a long the jet stream. These types of low pressure systems are weekly occurrences that bring various types frontal systems (cold, warm, occluded). The these types of systems are usually bring more extreme weather across the Midwest during the spring and fall seasons because of temperature in front and the back end of cold that these systems bring. Btw, don’t associate Extratropical cyclones with tropical cyclones as both are low pressure systems that have different characteristics from each other. (Mainly the altitudes with where center of low pressure is located and source of energy for each system is different.
My concern in this game will be Freddie Freeman more than usual. Luis Garcia on the road and vs a lefty this season has been his worst matchups. But again, this is due to him using his worst pitch (fastball) a lot more vs lefties I believe. The fastball was his most used pitch, but he used it way more often against lefties. Hopefully the changes to his mechanic which had that fastball at 97 last game will alleviate it. Ian Anderson is a young talent. Was very very good last year, but had a FIP over 4 this season. He also didn’t last too long into games last few postseason games. Hopefully we can give Luis some breathing room with some early runs
Agreed. So many World Series tickets get in the hands of ticket resale sites that prices explode because they try to take massive advantage of fans whose team hasn’t been to the World Series in a long time. If I paid that much for a ticket, I’d get in the ballpark and go down and watch the game from a lower-level concourse. That’s what I did in 2005 at MMP.
I snuck in to the first game in 2005. We just stood in line like we had a ticket and then we tried to slip the person at the door $100. She wouldn't take it but turned her back letting us in.
Stop to be concerned! Their best player was already out for whole series, what do you want to have more?
Is it irrational that not only do I want the Astros to win the World Series, I want them to smash the previous postseason runs per game record and the total runs scored record.
Nope. It’s Houston vs Everyone, remember. I want the Astros to remind the world how good they are every game.
No, and would not want. Keuchel gave up 4 runs almost instantly. Astros actually blew a 3 run 9th inning lead (Devenski).
Just for fun and in honor of our opponent, I did a quick comparison and cherry picked some stats to compare the Astros young pitching core (Valdez, Garcia, Javier and Urquidy) vs. the Braves Big 4 from the 90's (Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz and Avery). Below are the average numbers for each staff per year based on 162 game averages, try and guess which staff is which. A lot closer than I thought.
