This was the first time I heard of him

 

And blood cancer...

 

He was sick and elderly...I'm guessing his race had zero to do with him passing.

 

I got to meet him once (briefly) when he was doing a book signing at the store I was working at for the Grand Opening WAY back in 1995 off Westheimer (if anybody remembers the store named 'Media Play'). Anyways, it was quick but he was gracious...back when there was talk of him running for President against Bill Clinton. I still have my signed copy of the book somewhere.

So he had cancer and if anyone knows anything about cancer treatment and the effects it has on body's immune system, it isn't surprising that an 84 year old infected even with the vaccine might succumb.

Nobody knows this because the media refuses to show the covid numbers by race

Poorer people in general die at higher rates for most diseases. The average black person is more likely to have asthma, COPD, heavy metal poisoning, etc often due to environmental factors of growing up in poor neighborhoods near industrial business, often have worse access to healthcare as well.

 

Actually, she gets as much criticism for not criticizing him as for this. I know other people chose to not tweet about this, not wanting to give it more air play, but I think certain things are beyond the pale... his defenders will shrug this off as "mean tweets" but the leading republican candidate for president and leader of the party having so little decency to communicate this? At what point did we lower the bar so low that the most vile person can be in line to lead the country?
