We looked amazing. We should convince Wall to rejoin the team (if it takes any convincing after that stallion of a performance), I think we can be a solid 6th seed with his leadership.

    Do an honest review.

    1. Our FT shooting needs a LOT of work.

    2. Silas should sprinkle in Garuba, Christopher, Brooks, etc in with the rest of the regular rotation. It's the preseason - now's the time to throw crap at the wall and see what sticks.

    3. We can run the offense through both KPJ and Sengun. The latter is a really good passer.

A lot to like from Sengun.

His height can be an issue offensively but his defense, mobility, rebounding and passing is terrific.

If him and JG get a real professional conditioning and strength program I think they will both flourish

Honestly was impressed with Green. Shots weren’t falling but he showed a quick first step, let the game come to him, and was a great playmaker (several hockey assists and and passes to open shooters that didn’t go in). Very well rounded showing, despite shooting poorly (defense also will be a struggle).

Oh, and Sengun is a star.

Silas has a lot of work to do. That’s my hot take lol.

if they’re actually trying to win games…. It’s concerning that Wood was meh and Gordon was meh.

    I don’t like Gordon as a starter.

Jalen was fine. If he can’t shoot from deep that will be a problem lol but i think first game all good. Better 0-6 now than first actual game. These don’t count towards your stats.

not sure why KMartin Jr didn’t get more burn? For that matter… I’m not entirely sure why he isn’t in consideration o be the SF starter. Yes he’s still learning defensively and not great at putting he ball on the floor. But he does a lot of things well can space the floor has length and if can continue developing is the type of Mikal Bridges with better athleticism 3 and d player that would be great.

Finally of course Alpi. His FTs are concerning. Otherwise you have to wonder if he’s out there sometimes thinking “what are these idiots doing? Just make the obvious plays and play hard…?? Why y’all overcomplicating it??” In either case … 13 minutes is ridiculous.

How’s Sengun so smart at this age? How was Jokics rookie season? I just don’t know the last time I’ve seen a rookie so aware of the game.

Tate needs to start Gordon looks really awkward with the starters.

KMJ needs more minutes he deserves it after last year. Must continue his development.

KPJ looks really comfortable. Very smooth great passing. Should be in the conversation for all star this year.

Sengun needs a lot more minutes. Can he and Wood play together?

This team is going to score a lot of points and lose a lot of games.
